None of the likely starters / wildcard candidates won over the weekend and now MJ out, replaced in the top 10 with... Gold Fields...

Apparently Super Seth reconsidering it's position to run in the 3 Star Mile.
Would go Futurity > ASM.
Would've thought stud value would be better enhanced by going for two (or even three) of the Guineas' (Caufield / Aus / Randwick)

why would a win in restricted 3yo grade against the same horses he beat in the spring be better for his stud value than winning the ASM?

Given the previous 2 pages it seems Yes Yes Yes should have gone to the coolmore given he's seen as "just a G2 winner" around here so the logic is at least consistent.
At this rate the ASM will essentially be a restricted 3YO race plus a few older Cats. At least the Guineas’ are traditional stallion making races.

With the ASM falling away a little, old boy Black Heart Bart is worth a go at $21 the place. Needs a wildcard it seems.

Looking at the top 10 nothing jumps out like Alizee did last year as being a decent EV vote. Catalyst probably the lowest of the main chances in the 5 slot
