Last time we had one was in 08 for the hall of fame tribute match. I personally loved it and it was great to see some champions from other clubs play together.
The NBA has one every year and its one hell of a spectacle. Ive got to wonder why we don't have one every year. It's not as if it wouldn't make buckets for the AFL either.
So basically who wants one?

Vics vs The rest. Bring it on.

If you're going to have it all, make it every year. I don't see why not, so I voted every year.

Meh, it'd be a big honour to be selected in the team and if it happened each season I'm sure a media-fuelled rivalry would ensue and continue to build up over time.

Theoreotically it's no different to the International Rules Series players.

It has to be Victoria vs South Australia because that's where the rivalry is.

Having said that, the players are too worried about their clubs push towards a flag and the chance of an injury is too great.

It was good back in the day, but it's over.

Its one game in the year though? presumably after finals. I'm sure plenty of players would be willing to play. They could be given a % take from ticket sales or something as-well as incentive. But i wouldn't be surprised if players are just willing to represent their team and be included in an ALL STARS game would prove that they are exactly that.
Could have an extended bench like in the NAB to reduce the chance of injury and see more players. If players were injured the seasons already over anyway...

I want to say yes but it is not realistic because teams wont take the risk of losing their best players in a game that isnt for preimership points.

I wish the AFL could have an All Star weekend like the NBA with a goal kicking comp, 1st year players vs 2nd year players, some type of skills challenge and the All Star game but this is highly unlikely.
