Went to the game last night and sat a few rows below the coaches box in the reserve seating. Security didn't know who David Wirrapanda was and tried to ask him to leave the reserve seating area.

As most other posters have said the standouts were Wellingham, Gaff and Cripps. Sheed was hard at the contest i hope that can translate to playing against bigger bodies. Nelson was solid and skilled down back. With Waters now retired Nelson has a better chance to take that half back spot. Mcgovern was a strong presence playing forward but he wasn't playing against strong key defenders. Another who i liked was Malcolm Karpany he is strong through the core and has great agility. In the early days he won't be a massive possession winner but with his speed can be a low possession high impact player.

Brown made a few terrible mistakes in the second quarter. As other people have said Tunbridge had a bad night and doesn't look able to ever take the step.

After the game i met some of the players of both teams. Jamie Bennell and Dylan Main were really friendly, Bennell stayed and talked to people for a long time. But i can't say the same for Goodse and Burgoyne.

Just saw the photos on the Eagles website. Did Tunbridge have 100 possessions, or is the photographer just in love with him? Half the photos seemed to feature Tunbridge, and most of the rest seemed to feature Sinclair?
Haha was thinking that as well, think those pics were all of Tunbridge's possessions lol, Sinclair was actually really busy all game and got involved a lot.

One interesting thing from last night (at least in the first half) was Yeo at half back and Shep on the wing.

On BF there seems to be universal agreement that Yeo will move into the midfield this year. I'm not so sure he will.

First game of the season, give him time.

Was quite funny Lamb attracts a lot of attention on and of the ground, was good to see him show a bit of agro he was involved in a few lil scuffles not long after Being subbed on and wasn't afraid to give some back, there was quite a few young lads standing around me and when Lamb came on they were like look its Blondie and every time he got the ball they were like smash him smash Blondie hit him lol.

The performance before the game is called the War Cry. The NRL Indigenous All Stars do it as well.
