I get it TBH. If it gets really hardcore here I know I'm going to struggle.Don't care about naming this person, they are an idiot & a reason for the continued introduction of new restrictions
And they also seem to fail to understand what 'social distancing' means, or why people who don't care about the restrictions should be fined & instead they should just be allowed to go about their daily lives..
Jar Bee - New York City, Milan, and Lombardy are not representative of the rest of the world. NYC's hospitals are overburdened on a good day normally.
But I would rather be dead from a virus than live in the kind of world the oligarchs have planned for us.
The crazy thing is that that individual said they are self isolating, and have been for some time, prior to the governments advice asking/telling us to stay at homeI get it TBH. If it gets really hardcore here I know I'm going to struggle.
And if it went on for ages I don't even wanna think about it.
That ain't livin Gary!
Oh ok. Weird. The crazy thing is that that individual said they are self isolating, and have been for some time, prior to the governments advice asking/telling us to stay at home
Who knows why. People just love to moan. What are they moaning about? Too many beds now?
Who knows why. People just love to moan.
mostly:
- Nationalise them
- Private hospitals profit off suffering
- How much did we give them for this deal? (Kick back inferred)
- A deal for the boys.
Seriously STFU. Our health system is being overrun so much so that someone I work with who is also a student nurse has been told to be ready as they’ll be called in to help soon enough. So what? They spent 1.3bn to secure private hospital beds and staff to alleviate the public system in a crisis... They will soon be spending 5bn per WEEK to subsidise the wages of millions of Australians. Some ******* perspective is needed.
Even this meaningful article helping explain how we will traverse this economically has got blithering idiots carrying on about big business tax, mining revenue and franking credits (the last one I disagree on but the other two are fair enough). Sure we could and should be doing more to collect tax from big corporations but time and place. Let’s get through this and in 12-24 months time when this is over then have reasoned debates on those issues.
Chances are those moaning about how we will pay for it are the same people sitting on their couch right now soon to get a fortnightly payment from the government. Literal definition atm of biting the hand that feeds you. Could save a billion culling the ABC (joking of course).
Really does grind my gears. Up to 6 million could be affected in the next few months and morons are politicising our government literally ensuring we have food on the table and a roof over our heads for the next 6 months. Seriously?!?
The Karen's on Facebook that usually like to brag about they made their kids lunches today (Wow! Kids eat food. Who knew?) and how much they like wine.People like to bitch.
Mostly it's Karen's on Facebook that are so unsatisfied and unhappy with their shoddy marriage that they need to spew their negativity all over the internet.
Yeah! Get in here......oh wait. Hey!I just came here to moan about the people who moan about the people who moan.
Pretty funny - had a story about the first stimulus payments hitting bank accounts on the news, and ScoMo was saying he hopes people spend the money helping Australian businesses out instead of keeping the money in the bank.
I had to buy a headset with a mic from Big W so I can work from home, and walking through Westfield to pick it up after work, the only outlets that were open were Big W, Chemist Warehouse, Coles, Target, Dymocks and the $2 shop next to the Nut Shack.
Which Australian businesses do you propose they spend their money at ScoMO? Most of them have been temporarily closed down.
Who knows why. People just love to moan.

130 billion stimulus for the business to keep workers going is good.
How Australians pay for it next generations prob
This was required across the board though.....
You don't think the government already knows the playbook?
Expect a GST rate of 15%-20% at the next budget.
Expect the selling off of Aussie Post, the end of the ABC, etc.
Expect the stripping of Medicare.
Expect the stripping of a basic wage.
A stimulus is needed, but this is pure upper and middle-class welfare to buy the next election and set up the IPA agenda.
Why the f*** should an AFL player be getting government handouts when a mum looking after her disabled kid gets zip?
Why should a couple, still earning $80,000 a year get a hand-out, when a guy unable to get a job for the past 5 years due to mental illness, gets zip?
Why should an employer running a cafe down the road who never pays award wages and owns 4 houses get a handout? As if he'll be handing his $1500 per employee's wage.
The corruption will be huge - it's built into the system.
It should be asset-tested, it should be run through the tax-system, it should be fair.
It's not for a reason.
Once in a lifetime pandemic mate
that's why
True (though there will be more than one pandemic now - experts are now predicting 2 more of the strand far more deadly in the future), but it's naive to think governments all over the world are not moving the chess pieces around, working out what works for them in the mid-to-long term.
Who knows why. People just love to moan.

Seems a bit ridiculous to have different fines for different states. For those unaware of the new restrictions that have come into place over night and the penalties for breeching said restrictions, (thinking it's best to abide by these restrictions especially if in WA or NT)...

– are shopping for essentials, such as food and sanitary items
– require medical or healthcare needs
– have compassionate care duties
– are exercising outdoors (while keeping a safe distance from others, and only with one other person or people of the same household)
– are working or studying and unable to do so from home
