Few years ago (or longer maybe) Patto looked ready to explode internationally and Cummins was the injury prone, likely "couldabeen".
Now Cummins is the best bowler in the world and Patto never got a look.
Such a shame to lose an immense talent to constant injury.

Based on all the stuff that have come out over the last 12 months, it was inevitable his time was coming to an end - only question was how it would happen

A 6-month contract was put to him for him to coach the side through to the T20 World Cup with a handover plan to be put in place, but he didn't like that option - though this may be a good time for a change of voice

One of the big changers that seems to have occurred over the past 12 months is Langer taking a step back, & Andrew McDonald & Michael Di Venuto taking on more responsibility, and the players reportedly responded well to the increased involvement by those two. I know there's been a few names suggested as potential candidates for the top job, but wonder if either of these 2 will throw their hat in the ring
