I've not long turned over to The 100 to check the scores and just two balls later one of the worse injuries I've seen on a cricket field - commentators doing their job noted that the fielder slipped when going for the ball before they realised something pretty serious had happened. The cameras straight off the fielder and back to the batsman who was looking somewhat distraught as they likely realised what had happened

For the poor fielder, not sure if it was the slip that caused the injury or the injury caused the slip, but looks a pretty serious broken leg with his lower leg facing the wrong


Full credit to the commentators and crew behind the TV coverage for very quickly realising the seriousness of things, cutting the feed from the incident and even avoiding talking about the specifics of the injury, while still giving updates as to the situation
