3. "Unintended consequences of a height differential” on an attempted tackle;

4 and 5. Gleeson interrupted before the Dockers could respond to point four and five saying they never put any real weight on player reaction or remonstration

6. Evidence wasn’t there to suggest this level of impact was likely to cause concussion.
Dockers noted 24 comparable incidents graded as severe impact, saying in 23 of those cases the victim player didn’t play the following week.

I'd prefer this to be 3 weeks than an unintentional bump or dangerous tackle. The MRO (who's ****ing useless btw) and tribunal should be grading things on intent, rather than outcome. Then the penalty increases if the outcome is bad.

Right now they're grading incidents on outcome with a tiny measure of intent thrown in there. The understanding is this is being done to save themselves from concussion-based lawsuits down the road.

Using a legal perspective, look at murder, manslaughter, and attempted murder. The MRO would grade murder and manslaughter with the same penalty and then attempted murder would be a lesser sentence. It doesn't make any sense.

Brisbane's Morris given the all clear for his push. MRO stated that it "was not of a forceful nature", which is the most subjective thing ever.

How he can determine what is and isn't a forceful push is beyond me. There's so many factors to consider such as strength of both players, arm extension of the pusher, momentum/direction of both players. Yet Michael Christian in his infinite wisdom is able to calculate all of that perfectly and let Morris free while Mansell gets 3 weeks for the same action. The whole organization is so incompetent.

I wouldn't as much if we weren't always the ones copping the rough end of the stick. It's just frustrating that the premier sporting competition in the country makes policy on the run.
