3pt shooter. I'll go with Mark Price.

Need a backup point guard - It was a toss up between - Tim Hardaway and Kevin Johnson. Both great players. I'm going with Kevin Johnson. So underrated in the 90s. Averaged 21/11 over a 4 year span. Shot over 49% for his career, which is insane for a point guard. Great defensive player as well. Sad to pass on Hardaway though, as he was a personal favorite.

Going to go with Willis Reed with my second pick. Surprised he's still available. Almost went with him in the last round, so really happy he's still there. MVP, 2 x Finals MVP & Rookie of the year. Only led a New York team to a finals win against a Lakers team with Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West. Not bad.

Right choice, Tim's taken anyway :P

Also, wut @ Price

Great 3 point shooter, deadly with speed. one of the first point guards to use the split between defenders. In the modern game he can fit right in perfectly and beast. He's a decent defender (not great), decent playmaker and an amazing shooter. Just put that in this era of the NBA where 3pt shooting for a point guard is kind of important, a lot more than the 90's.

Underrated player no doubt, but a lot of the players you have picked could have been picked later in the draft. Price would have still been around in 2 rounds. Likewise Sabonis would still be available now if you hadn't picked him. I, as a fellow drafter, have no issue with you picking people too early :p

True but you never know who's thinking what. I thought about KJ but his shooting was a problem. Plus I still have an idea who I want to pick, so it doesn't deter me.

Im going to need a backup PG. Since we are looking at players peaks and not worried about injuries, im going to pick one of the greatest PG's that never was.

Penny Hardaway

Okay so I'm missing a 4 and a 3.

I need some defense since I have Mark Price. So I'll go with a professional player who doesn't really have an ego. Great two way player who can shoot the 3 and defend very well.

But instead I'll go with a crazy player who can do those things and in his prime was putting up MVP numbers. Ron Artest/Metta World Peace/Panda's Friend.

Man prime D-wade and prime Ron Ron on the same team defensively :O

I'm shocked this guy is still here (based of my search) one of the best shooters, Reggie Miller.

So was I, but I'm not mad, I've got a better one in Gervin :)

Will pick very soon
I was that shocked, I searched 3 times to make sure he hadn't been taken.

I didn't really need a SG :p

In reality though, because he was so clutch, he was probably overrated in the scheme of things. For a scorer he only averaged more than 22ppg in 2 seasons and didn't contribute much other than scoring (3rpg/3apg). Also wasn't great defensively. Money when he needed to be though.

True. I still stand by my pick though.

Now, this is a guy who was a great scorer, solid defender and was superb in the clutch. Sounds like my kind of guy.

Mitch Richmond.
