Whilst statistically this man my look inferior to most he was far from inferior in any way.

Welcome to the Ballantyne Scouts the player of the 19th Century

W.G.Grace - Gloustershire - England

The Reaper your go champ
Was one I tossed up. Decent get in a hard era (pre 1930). Only thing that deterred me was his rather unimpressive test record

Yeah that did worry me but then again so did the talent in the Pre 1930s thought I better pounce before there wasn't much left.

Also; I think it should be more flexible. I think you should have to pick 3 or 4 from every era, but you decide which eras you want to pick 4 from. I might want to pick 3 players from the 65-89 era, and 4 from the 90's onward era but I can't :/

Once we select a player's era/county, is it locked in? or can we re-shuffle if they fit into more than 1 era.
I think it should be set in stone.

Too bad too sad. That's the name of the game; it's not meant to be easy.

You can re-shuffle an era, but not a state-county.

No can do. Don't oppose me, because after all, I AM gameboss :p

Again ;)

Nice work Vlad. Keep'em all inline ;)

Ok, my two picks are-

Les Ames (1877-1929), Kent, Eng.

The first great wicketkeeper batsman, very capable of batting top 6, with a batting avg of 40 in tests.

and Joel Garner (1965-1989), Barbados, WI

Beast of an opening bowler who can share the new ball with Hadlee, or come on first change.

Suppose I've waited long enough it's time to get my strike bowler.

With a handy ave of 18.63 at the Wanderers if this bloke dosent become one of the all time greats I'll go he.

Dale Steyn - Cape Cobras - South Africa

Danger in Texas

Oh well, I suppose Galle wouldn't really have suited him anyway

"With the 44th pick in the All Time Cricket Draft v2.0, the Port Jackson Birds select...

George Lohmann, from Surrey, England."

Name doesn't ring a bell? Well, I suppose most names from the late 1800's don't. I just can't pass up on Lohmann, though. He averaged a handy 10.75 runs per wicket during his career, and claimed 112 wickets in just 18 tests! Very happy to pick him up here.

Mateyman up!

What wrong with that. Always thought I had a great rack :D
Too true :D
Ah, the last draft was good times. thorne89 and his John Snow/The Bastard riddle, your self portrait confusion, MG MG and when he asked me for good players from a certain era :P
