Righteo seing wotdoiput has taken 24 hrs and i highly doubt he will select my player i'll go ahead and pick. After hours of exhaustive research into finding a player that has played under Shastri, Yallop or Gooch i finally found someone worthy enough for my team. Whilst his averages dont truly reflect how good this guy was he was one of my all time favorite players to watch and when in full flight was probably the most stylish to have played the game. He will fit in nicely as my 12th man, was a very handy part time bowler early in his career and the best catcher i have seen.

Thankfully he played under Gooch at Essex after Allan Border finished his stint there.
