Who are your all time favorite Collingwood players? Not neccessarily the best but the ones you liked to watch.
Heres a list of mine - its a big list
Peter McKenna - number 6 - first pop star in football history and the straightest kick for goal the world has seen
Wayne Richardson - captain courageous - number 1- lovely footskills. He and brother Max and Barry Price spoon fed McKenna for years
Ron Wearmouth - number 5 - wild hair - mad as a cut snake
Ray Shaw - silky skills yet a very dirty player too. Number 23. Great captain and the first captain to not wear no 1.
Billy Picken - number 25 - loud, bow legged, unpredictable kick, best big game player I have seen in the black and white
Ricky Barham - number 1 - quick as a gazelle and owned the wing. Loved taking a bounce or three
Ron McKeown - inconsistent but always dangerous. Kicked 8 one day at VFL Park against Carlton. Missed out on premiership glory (but then again so did all of the above)
Darren Millane. Number 42 Deceptively skillled on both sides of the body. Tough and hard, and a ball player most of the time.
Shane Morwood. Architect of Collingwood's 1990 backline. Seemed to have all the time in the world
Mick McGuane. Number 34. Billy Picken's love child. loved to carry the ball and kick it - rarely handballed
Gavin Brown - strong overhead mark. terrible kick.
Sav Rocca - everbody's sentimental favorite. Most exciting player in the game when on song.
Chris Tarrant - best pair of hands in the business.
Scott Burns - second best pair of hands in the business.
