I'll post something tonight.

I feel like I'm being a bit too modern, but I need a top notch distributor for my high usage SF.
I'll rectify that later in the draft.

My Choice is Steve Nash.

I love this guy. And so should you. No one is sagging off him with Pippen and LeBrone on the wings.

Since you ****ers have cleaned out the PG spot, I'm going Dwyane Wade* with my next pick.

*With same pick I claim rights to Gabrielle Union.

Superstar in the league that is far from done:

NBA Finals MVP (2006)
8× NBA All-Star (2005–2012)
NBA Scoring Champion (2009)
2× All-NBA First Team (2009–2010)

Career averages of 25 points @ 49%, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1.8 steals, 1 block

I have a need for a finisher, a versatile player who can slash, crash, spot up, run with, run from, rebound, steal, dunk, finish in traffic, and glide.

As i have said a few times, I am building a team built on integrity, morals and all round goodness - as evidenced by the admiral, moses and Magic.

the 4th pick clearly demonstrates the adage that the longer you been out of the game, the better you are.

may i introduce to you.

the one and only.

classy.

fairest.

With the 32nd pick of the NBA ALL TIME DRAFT.... the Jodzilla Thrillers select.

DOMINQUE WILKINS

If my team isnt best at the end of this draft were certainly gonna be the one everybody wants to watch. I now have the two greatest dunkers of all time on my squad.

Career averages of 24.8ppg, 7.6rpg and 2.5apg from the 3 spot is immense. Former scoring champ, number All NBA teams. 9 time All Star and a flat out athletic wingman who can shoot and attack the rim with downright ferocious dunks.

Who wants to get dunked on??

Now to fill out my starting 5 at the 4 spot.

I have a dominant defensive big in Howard, a pass first PG, a slasher at the 3 and the GOAT at the two. What am I missing? Someone to spread the floor for MJ and 'Nique. Someone to open up the lane for Dwight Howard to dominate down low. Someone for Stockton to kick out to for wide open jumpers. Somebody for MJ to kick to when he is double and triple teamed.

Someone tough, physical, a rebounder, a 7 footer, a leader, but someone who can step out and reign from distance. Unguardable at his best with a fall away jumper which is rivalled only by MJ's as pretty much unstoppable. But most importantly the heart of a champion.

With the first pick of the 5th round. I give you....

DIRK NOWITZKI

NBA Champion, Finals MVP, NBA MVP, 11 time All Star, 4 time All NBA 1st team, 5 time All NBA 2nd team. Career averages of 23ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.7apg, 1spg and 1bpg.

SF - Dominque Wilkins
PF - Dirk Nowitzki
C - Dwight Howard

Winning.

i looked at dom, but his laissez faire attitude to defence threw me off

I have 4 pretty good defenders in my starting lineup. I thought I could afford one bloke who just thinks offence. Make someone worry about stopping Nique. He can fill it up. One of the 50 greatest and boy do I wanna see him out on the break with Stockton feeding him the rock.

Windmill.

The Human Highlight Film was not named top 50 in 1996 much to my dismay.

Great pick though, one of my favs ever. (although too young to witness any actual footage live I did get raised on Dazzling Dunks and Basketball Bloopers)

Edit: May have both on your team.... :D

I've still got that on VCR!! I reckon the Nique two handed windmill is better than the freethrow line dunk.

I'm old enough to have Nique play and he was definitely fun to watch. First NBA game I saw was Celts vs Hawks circa 1988.

And just my 2 cents fella's but this is one of the slowest drafts I've ever been involved in.

Will still watch with great interest. If a poll is introduced at the end it will take some doing to swing my vote from where it is now.

Jod23 can you update the OP with current teams also?
