Noble can come in if the pitch isn't suited to the quicker bowlers. Also, fun fact, Procter bowled off-spin at the end of his career, including during the WSC Supertests where he took 16 wickets @ 16.
Yep, that's fair. Not sure you need 3 genuine speedsters but if Procter can bowl offies that suits you to a tee. Which combination would you use to open? Lindwall/Hadlee?

Beefy at 5 is really high

He batted better at 5 and 7 than he did at 6.

Mostly, but it would depend on the conditions. Procter was a swing bowler who just happened to bowl very quickly and off the opposite foot - he himself says that he was like a left-armer when he went around the wicket.

I would have batted him at 7, Hashan is good enough to bat top 6

12. Frank Woolley (1910s)

Wanted to go for a 3 pace, 2 spin attack. Plus Jayasuriya has 98 test wickets and is a handy spin back up.

Woolley could swap with Benaud or Faulkner if need be to have a medium pacer and spinner in one.

Gave Viv the captaincy. Wanted to give it to Imran initially but more practical to give it to Viv.

This is his last post, can anybody fill in the two remaining spots? Or even just give him 2 players, one Banga/Zimbot and one from elsewhere.

Okay, doing the maths, he can't have Allan Donald so I'm replacing that pick with Dave Houghton of Zimbabwe as 12th man, giving him Jimmie Sinclair for 1910-1919 and Jeffrey Stollmeyer for 1940-1949.
