People still tie jumpers to themselves? And over the shoulders? I thought that was just something a character from an 80s college movie did, the kind of jock that goes to Yale and has the hot girlfriend that gets stolen by the loser main character.

Having a look at the Freo and St Kilda boards and this could go absolutely nuclear depending on what happens tomorrow.

This is what happens when two massively insecure supporter bases go to war and ain't it glorious?

Almost makes you grateful for those bags of dicks down the road....almost.
Are you serious? your Tim Kelly thread got to 214 pages before trade period even started. And we are insecure?

In these times I do feel for Obeanie1. Trade done early, doesn't get to properly showcase his crazy genius trading skills.
Hopefully you're not forgotten Obeanie & there'll be a nostalgic comeback tour sometime in the future.
*wasn't going to say it, but your last one is definitely not a part of your greatest hits, I'll just always reminisce about your glory days when you were relevant :)
*tongue in cheek mate, love your stuff.....but that last one was off the charts

I mean ya, you're replying to my post in our trade thread, that's pretty insecure.

There are literally pages and pages arguing about who's had less success. About who's a minnow club, about how incompetent your respective club's list managers are.

And for the record, the 'bags of dicks down the road' was in reference to Geelong, but feel free to take it on board.

Sounds like Freo will get Acres for free and isn’t tied to the Hill trade. Ratten should really hold onto him and see how he goes without a spud coach.

Both Acres and Aish dont want to go to Freo but looks like they will anyway for job security

That will do wonders for team chemistry and sustained success at the Purples. 😊

I’m sure he won’t mind being home plus getting guaranteed game time. Can’t believe their coaches have told him that he’ll be pushed out by Zak Jones. Why have St K brought in yet another ball butcher especially when their one player with skill is going to Geelong

Jack steven doesn't have skill . His blind hacks it out of stoppages and kicks long to contests are he 2 main kicks .

Very much in the priddis mould

Geelong after Jenkins. How many 30 yr olds do they want on their list?

Expect them to miss the 8 tbh.
Dangerfield can see his premiership chances slipping through his fingers .

He would have had to watch Adelaide get to the big dance after he left also

TBF steven and jenkins are both reasonable players at the end of their careers and have cost **** all

Yeah sorry, i don't like picking direct arguments with people but you're completely full of shit and there's a case for you to delete your account.

What's more concerning is that you seem 100% sure of yourself too. Have you seen Jack Steven play? 🤷‍♂️

He is easily one of St Kilda's most skillful and dynamic players when he's up and about. A line breaker, a 65m off one posession type player.

The last thing he is is a hack forward Priddis type. He carries the pill, he holds the ball and tries to make things happen.

That is literally the first thing off youtube. Just 1 seasons worth. No skill though, all just blind hack kicks out of congestion and long to stoppages 👍

He is more like Shuey than anyone.

Take with a grain of salt “

214 pages of gold there Sunshine.

Our thread is a collection of highly sophisticated discussion. I don't like to resort to name-calling, but you guys are just being a bunch of cunctators with your trading.

I’m inclined to agree somewhat with Yamumluvsbigcox

His disposal efficiency over his career sits at less than 65%. I know stats aren’t everything and those highlights show how damaging he can be on his day but I’ve definitely watched multiple saints games where his poor kicking and simple errors burn him the other way, even if he has managed to move the pill 70 metres forward

*edit - disposal efficiency number is from 2019 season by looks of it and I have no clue how to find career averages turns out so could be way out of line

I think its a bit of both. He is a line breaker, and does get that 65m forward gain - but he is also nowhere near as good a kick as Shuey.

He is quite prone to butchering the ball, often under little pressure. A very good, explosive, player - but an average kick (not below average, or poor, just right on average).
