The lengths that the Port haters at Ch7 will go. SPP did wrong but he doesn't deserve to have his reputation trashed. And the arseholes couldn't care less about the damage they've inflicted.

As a Vic resident, I've seen nothing like that on Ch7 in Melbourne. Sure they luv running stories of players who get themselves into trouble but the aim is never character assassination.
Pissant port hating town mentality.

Imagine if, like, Coca-Cola bought Channel 10, and used the 6 o’clock news every night to install Coke employees as newsreaders and run a bunch of stories about how Coke is great and Pepsi sucks. That’s basically South Australian football journalism.

For bonus South Australia points, Michelangelo Rucci runs a story entitled “Pepsi’s alright I guess” and Coke drinkers begin to complain that the media is unfairly biased against them.

"If you have three Crows players, and lose one, how much closer to a flag are you? You, the idiot in the Adelaide BigFooty forum?"

"Tex?"

"Partial credit!"

Just a thought, since this is not a legal/ police investigation - in fact it is not a great deal more than a beaten up non issue... is there any reason legally why I can’t reveal the accusers name?

Because, to be honest I have absolutely no moral reason why I wouldn’t!

South Australia.

Where a muckraking journo named 'Elspeth' can serve as a defacto propagandist in the parallel employ of one of the city's 2 professional AFL clubs, and throw around terms like "sexual assault" while openly hunting for witnesses and footage to confirm said accusation against a 19-year old indigenous man.

And the only wider talk of "privilege" surrounds famous footballers who wear teal.

South Australia.

There's no legal reason but we're not looking to create any trouble so let's not go down that path.

Yet she has the gall to champion news reports calling Port Adelaide supporters out for being racists.

Pot, kettle, garbage.

Thanks to the shitflow from our friends at Channel 7 I reinstated my Foxtel sports package today.

I don't do dreamteam/fantasyfootball or footy tips so I still couldn't give a toss about most games, but will happily watch Port this Sunday live and in HD.

**** you Channel 7 - will never watch your trash coverage and your clients advertisements again.
Should I get to the point that I can't afford Foxtel, I'll just use a radio.
