Because we went away from our traditional plans due to circumstances, and what do you know? They went ok.

Disagree about that.

Like I said we lose to the Blues and I will light the pitchfork.

How is discussing results, which is what the game is based on (wins/losses/overall ladder position) a form of deflecting?

**** me dead.
When it becomes all about Buckley!

Surely not even you believe that?

Why not? It's quite literally been proven throughout scientific history that adding factors (catalysts,) can often change results negatively no matter how positive the prediction. Or do you just think that adding those players equals the same exact game with a few goals extra? That's illogical.

And in reality Buckley is the least of the problems next to a list that has been structured around slow players with terrible disposal and no key positions worth a damn, that is squarely on the recruiters/traders shoulders

You need to bone up on butterflies.

It’s not.
But the rose coloured glasses brigade can only see Buckley’s stellar career, not his incompetence in the coaching/recruiting role.
This nightmare will end one day, and a few years after that, even the rose coloured will speak about this era in the same hushed tones as we do with the Shaw era.

Nope, I prefer to stay in the moment.

But the moment is 0-2.
You seriously happy with that moment?
No need to continue to discuss if that is the benchmark.
Exactly, only 2 games in, I will wait a few more weeks before I make a judgement on the year.

Who said I was happy? Realistic? Yes. Down and out? No, and will front up again next week.

Strangely if we beat Carlton and Richmond, then yes, maybe I will be happy.

Nice avatar.

He’s not... too short for a KPF... not sure where he’ll end up, was a curious choice by the Crows given who else they have..
Doesn't seem a curious choice from the way he played. Looks like he will make a good CHF.

He’s 193cm, the same height as Jarryd Roughead and Nick Reiwoldt and 1cm taller than Jack Darling. He’s definitely not too short to be a KPF.

The ladies behind me said he was in the room with the doctors in the second quarter but he returned late.

By the way TGG even more so now with Moore gone (minimum 4 weeks IMO) I would have gone a KPP with pick six. What (Hine) our Club has done with our list balance is criminal.

We are just gonna have to play McLarty, ready or not... let’s not kid ourselves, Reid is done as a forward...

Cox the only tall in for me.

Stick him at full forward........he gets 5-10 minutes as relief ruck.

Mclarty isn’t ready.

I had more faith in Cox as a forward prior to round 1 than I do now.

I understand where you’re coming from but really? My pre-season forward six included all of Cox, Reid, Elliott, Fasolo, De Goey and Wells. You’re right in that just adding those players doesn’t automatically equal a win. The odds of winning a match are never binary, it’s always somewhere between 0 - 100%. Adding a number of the aforementioned players surely increases the chances closer to 100%. You seem to be suggesting that it wouldn’t (because the other players maybe wouldn’t have played as well?) unless I’m mistaken? That’s illogical.

Baby.....bath water stuff TGG. He will be straight back in.

I am sure he will take “a” mark this week.
