Meanwhile, look what happens when a conservative tries to speak on an American college campus. Rabid left wing groups do all they can to block them from speaking, and have been successful many times. There's just no comparison, many on the left hate free speech and jump at any chance of censoring opposing views.

Also, right to free speech doesn't give you right to a microphone, a podium and a venue. Free speech is about not being put into prison by authoritarianism governments. No one is obliged to give you a platform.

In these situations everything the left does is basically the same as what the right does. Try to deny the size of that voice. I.e. go have your speech somewhere else, not on my college campus, or we'll play Ray Hadlee and his daughter instead of a song about same sex marriage.

The biggest difference is when this happens right claim victimhood of "free speech denial" or claim death threats as just "exercising free speech of criticism".
