i like the white jumper. i dont understand why people despise that one so much.
How is our navy blue jumper with the Dees or the Saints more of a clash than Essenscums with the Saints who both wore their preferred jumper last Friday night??

The song also states "We're the team that NEVER lets you down".......I don't know about anyone else but I have felt let down at times, especially over the last 6 years
The white jumper is fine......and we only wear it 2 or 3 times per year.
Although as someone else mentioned - how we are forced to wear the alternate strip against St Kilda but Essendon don't has got me flummoxed.

I agree! It was a ridiculous clash and apparently even the umpires complained. I personally think Carlton's clash jumper is one of the best. It's simple, still says Carlton to me and does exactly what it's designed to do (avoid a clash).
Essendon's clash jumper is not only a bit rubbish it doesn't solve clash problems when/if they wear it anyway. I wish we'd stop whinging and come up with something that works a clash jumper.

its not a bad jumper but its not carlton we are the navy blues not the navy whites
if u read greg swanns article bout 2 fridays bak he hates it to and we wont be wearing after yesterdays game
also its more like 6 times a year he always says :
if greg swann is so hellbent on never wearing the white jumper again, andy will be pressing the blues to come up with an alternative for the alternative jumper. we simply won't be allowed to wear the navy jumper when we're away to teams like melbourne and whoevever else they reckon we clash with.

For the Alternative Game Jumper i was thinking we use yellow on the jumper instead of white
Example the CFC on front yellow instead white and the numbers on the back yellow instead of white
And socks blue and yellow
So in the end we have minor change from white to yellow and we mainly wearing blue still and get rid of the pathetic all white outfit

Essendon did wear a clash jumper it had much more red very unnoticeable like the pies clash guernsey no real difference at all ... and they make our one white were not the ghosts were the blues !!!!
bring back the M&M jumper!
Every neutral supporter i know likes our clash guernsey and i don't mind it either.

I'm sure we could grab the set out from the wardrobe and dust it off.
Poor Andrew Balkwill played only 1 game for the Blues in the seniors and it was the M&M's game! Never played another senior game and never had the privlege of wearing the famous navy blue.
That white jumper should be applauded. It's a simple design and is easily distinguished when playing against dark strips.
