Then why use that as a basis for rejecting my application? No, I mentioned in the PM they were for my eyes only
Would love to know why
It should be up to the public to decide that, it’s ridiculous that ND is personally removing candidates because he doesn’t like them.In fairness, the lack of committee experience seemed to be a big selling point for many , but then again, in fairness to you, you did address that issue
Regardless, I'd like to think that if you did have that , or if someone like ABV (before he retired) put his hand up, it would have been seriously considered and that it wasn't just a Bombers thing
Did you consider running with someone else?
That goes for the other applicants too. The co-admin concept makes sense

He has 15 watermelons still.George has 15 watermelons, Susie has 12. If Susie gives George half of her watermelons how many does George have?
and this is why your application should have gone throughHe has 15 watermelons still.
He also now has 12 half watermelons.
I wouldn’t vote for a candidate like me either, just sayin’Let him run, its not like anyone will vote for him
So we can point blameWhy have an admin for a fantasy league? I’ve always wondered
Is that really the most important consideration?Had no chance with no committee experience and I would be in the same boat if I put my hand up
Yes MWPP, people do value different stats which is why I'm suggesting a wide input for a consensus, and would like to see a few formulated systems (like Bazs, JWSs, Davs) taken into consideration in these discussions, it doesn't HAVE to be done exclusively at committee level, but naturally that's where the back and forth will happenThe problem is that the quality of posting relates to the /not liking how someone else posts part and is inherently subjective. In other words, it's a nice idea, but the implementation of it is going to be a challenge for that principle alone. As it stands, most of the discussion happens at LG level. So are you proposing a return to discussion at committee level? If so, I'm not necessarily opposed to it but I don't think you'd get a lot of support for it since that's yet another shift that has been welcomed. Also stats themselves are subjective because obviously people value different ones.
To use last year as an example, which people do you think missed out despite deserving qooty performances and made it on the back of posting alone instead?
They have, but maybe it's the first time they've been raised to you. Until that point, many people thought you would be the automatic next admin. The tour PM wasn't that long ago either. I hope you understand that it'll take some time before the respect /trust is re-won. But thanks for your word.
Had preliminary discussions with a few others and there was more than enough support forthcoming. In fairness, the lack of committee experience seemed to be a big selling point for many , but then again, in fairness to you, you did address that issue

I appreciate the kind words but I'll go into bat for the others here. All of the candidates are people I feel have the best interests of the board at heart. kdavva joined the league with me and would be an amazing admin. The only real knock on him is that he's floated in and out of the league. PMBangers is a little bit raw but he's got a good head on his shoulders and he'd make things work. He's also got The Filth Wizard in his back pocket. Kennedy Parker has done the job before and has an acute understanding of how the board works. The league would be in excellent hands under his stewardship.
So you don't feel it's already happening that way ie different systems taken into consideration? It already happens at LG level but I think what you're suggesting is even more discussion at committee level? Well, that's upto the committee but I do think most others seemed to prefer the shift to discussion at LG level with the committee being used to iron out the minor differencesYes MWPP, people do value different stats which is why I'm suggesting a wide input for a consensus, and would like to see a few formulated systems (like Bazs, JWSs, Davs) taken into consideration in these discussions, it doesn't HAVE to be done exclusively at committee level, but naturally that's where the back and forth will happen
I think Strigoi is a great example from the last 2 seasons, she's got a different posting style and because some don't like it she's missed two ALL-SFA selections she should've gotten
I think you are wonderful, Filth.I want it known, to yourself and all the admin candidates, that I'm here for all your back pockets. I'd never say no to anybody that wanted to chat to an ex-admin over league issues.
Demand. What does the first A in AMA stand for?
Would depend on what's popular in discussion at the time, an updated rivalry round would be interesting, perhaps one that has more to do with player movement between clubs?I can see why this application wasn’t seriously considered.
Barrybran what’s the rationale behind shortening the season to only 13 weeks? We’re still quite a short season at 16 weeks and it allows for additional rounds/heritage rounds/rivalry rounds etc to be played out.
For all 4 candidates - which themed round would you like to introduce to the SFA first, and why?
PMBangers kdavva Kennedy Parker
I've already got a plan with my LG should I be successful here, this will include another Royal taking my spot in the committee and handling team sheets, but I'll maintain doing our BnF stuff which is so simple I do it in my lunch break at workYou're the least experienced in the league, and newly a club captain. How do you expect to balance that with the admin role should you be successful?
IGA let you have lunch breaks mate?I've already got a plan with my LG should I be successful here, this will include another Royal taking my spot in the committee and handling team sheets, but I'll maintain doing our BnF stuff which is so simple I do it in my lunch break at work
To be honest this is a tad far, it was a few shitty comments at a not great time, if that's grounds to question my entire character I'd be surprised if there's anyone 'appropiate' for the roleTotally inappropriate stuff that wouldn't be acceptable from a regular poster let alone mod (albeit from a different forum, not SFA) or aspiring SFA admin and has rightly resulted in PMB's character being called into question. Enough people would have seen it /been aware of it but if you haven't, ask your tour rep /committee rep. It's not the place to share it here
Ask around, I have stood up for many rookies in my time here, both publicly and privately.I’ve been here a little over a season. I’ve not seen actions that mirror the words in your application. Quite the stark opposite in some circumstances actually.
#Istandwithbangers
Let's be honest, the clubs woth someone interested will consider it but for the most part people look at Baz Stats and make judgements off that + "i like the way they post", we saw it with people trying to get in Chippy, we saw it with Proper Gander missing out despite winning the Fred as wellSo you don't feel it's already happening that way ie different systems taken into consideration? It already happens at LG level but I think what you're suggesting is even more discussion at committee level? Well, that's upto the committee but I do think most others seemed to prefer the shift to discussion at LG level with the committee being used to iron out the minor differences
And preaching to the choir re: Strigoi![]()
You rang?To be honest this is a tad far, it was a few shitty comments at a not great time, if that's grounds to question my entire character I'd be surprised if there's anyone 'appropiate' for the role
