that david mackay has played 210 odd games and we have won zero premierships in that time. amazing!
There wouldn't be too many that you could say have played anywhere near that without ever really anyone noticing them.

Im fairness though, I think your long time disciplined game plan is conjucive to such things, you can swap someone and no one will know.

Tyson Stengle is about to make his debut for Adelaide.
Former AFL player, Tyson Stenglein, also played for the Adelaide Crows from 1999-2004.

West Coast after playing in a Grand Final the year before to a Victorian powerhouse, loses by a point at home to Collingwood. Goalless in the last qtr

Weagles will hope history repeats as they went on to win the flag ( I don't ) because it was against........Geelong.

Goalless in the last qtt last night and loses by a point lol

More clearer

1991 Eagles Play Victorian Powerhouse in the Granny and lose
1992 - lose at home by a point to Collingwood after having a lead. Goalless last qtr ( also had 4 behinds tall at ht )
kick two goals in the 3rd quarter, their only two of the half

2018 - Eagles Play Victorian Powerhouse in the Granny and win
2019 - lose at home by a point to Collingwood after having a lead. Goalless last qtr ( ( also had 4 behinds tall at ht )
kick two goals in the 3rd quarter, their only two of the half

2019 win the granny against Geelong? or lose it?

edited - both times the pies went into the clash with the eagles coming off a loss by under a goal at the MCG.

*en hell.

I knew there was something eery similar with the Eagles game against North yesterday.

2007 as reigning Premiers The Eagles played the Roos at home and kicked............

18.13 = 121 points

First quarter score was WCE 5.4 to 3.1 ( North kicked 3.1 in the opening term yesterday )

Half time Eagles had 8 goals kicked, as they did yesterday

And at 3 quarter time North had 7 goals kicked for the game, as they did yesterday.

Their spearhead in 2007 Q. Lynch had 7 scoring shots for 3.4

JK Had 7 scoring shots for 7 goals

Could be like 2007 where an interstate side unexpectedly made the GF ( Port ) and lost to Geelong. Maybe the Lions make it and lose to us this year.

Second Time this year Carlton has played in a game that finished at 99-75. Both were against "Coast" teams - Gold Coast and now West Coast.

1992 Premiership year for the Eagles.......

Beat the Blues by 24 points in Melbourne, exactly 4 goals

And even crazier I just remembered, they kicked 15 goals and 11 goals each, like today!

WTF!

edited - kicked 2.6 in 1992 opener and 2.5 in todays opening term!
