Amir to make domestic cricket return

Azhar and Hafeez are perfectly entitled to be pissed off that the selectors are making them play with a convicted match-fixer. Fixing taints the entire team by association; just look at the comments earlier in this thread. Playing with a fixer is now part of their own cricketing legacy.

I understand people are keen to see more of an immensely talented quick, but in any other sport he would have been banned for life. It's an embarrassment to have him back playing Test cricket.

It has to be noted that whenever Pakistan **** up everyone on social media and forums and even commentators like Michael Vaughan goes wink wink nudge nudge "I wonder what happened there?"

At least when our guys **** up it's all because they're a bunch of metrosexuals who play too much T20 cricket.

I'd rather that then getting accused of throwing matches because your former teammates spot fixed 5 years ago.

Umar Gul and Junaid Khan seem to have disappeared from the selectors minds

Not sure on Junaid, but Umar has been injured and is making his return in the upcoming series in New Zealand.

I don't really feel strongly about him returning, but its interesting how people can demonise him whilst Amir is just a poor misguided soul. Was he ever involved in actual match-fixing, or only this sting setup with the no-balls?

Bloody good batsman though who did pretty well for himself on our shores.
