You just answered the question why Luai should be nowhere near the side- looks horrible outside of the club combination. Walker deserves another go, better player this year and the form 6 in the game. Not fussed Hynes or Reynolds at 7, either one. The Souths combination is there, Mitchell/Cook (just drop Koroisau). You are just replacing one combination with another that's it.
As does Walker...

We'll continue to disagree on this which is fine. Won't bother still going in circles though.

For me, Luai and Hynes and then Burton in the 14. He can cover centre if required as well as in the halves.

The last thing NSW need are back utilities. They are a waste of a spot. Pick a FWD that can cover centres, Angus Crighton would be one. Pick two halves and goodness sakes pick Cook who is in way better form than Korisau.

Almost hope NSW get trounced 3-0 then we can send Fittler to get sacked. Perhaps then we can get past this dumb let’s play combinations thing.

Crichton would be horrific covering centre. You think Munster running past Nicho was bad for the Hammer try, him running past Angus would be even easier.

A back utility is perfect if Fittler rotates his forwards properly...which he's still yet to perfect.

Ben Hunt did fine in the centres. You only need an emergency cover in the centres. Towards win games in Origin. Crighton for the record has played a fair bit in the centres anyway. You’d just switch Latrell out to mark Hammer.

NSW TEAM 2023 Game II (what could likely happen):

1 - Tedesco
2 - To'o
3 - Mitchell
4 - Graham
5 - Addo-Carr (FASTEST MAN ON THE PLANET just fyi)
6 - Burton
7 - Hynes
8 - Paulo
9 - Koroisau
10 - Haas
11 - Frizell
12 - Murray
13 - Yeo
14 - Cook
15 - Saifiti (Jacob)
16 - Martin
17 - Koloamatangi

18th man - Moses
COACH - Fredesco
This is the best team NSW can choose, trust me. The players are right there.

Tino's prospects of playing Origin 2 aren't flash. He'll do well to avoid a suspension.
There was nothing in it.
Think Tino is safe

Hynes makes no sense at 14, he either plays 7 or Burton plays 14.

Burton can actually slot into the centre's if required, and fill in the halves.
Well he's not gonna need to slot into the centres. Nor the halves. So now what are we doing here? Are you gonna sub Burton in for Turbo or Trell if they're fit? Or put him into the halves if they're fit? That only means one of your starters is sitting out. Not a good idea to have your starters from 1-7 sitting. Hynes can play stand in hooker and let Cook rest.

Why not? Hynes had to fill in at centre in game 1 and Munster ran straight past him.

In today's game with HIA's, it's important to have a utility that can fill in in several places, Hynes can't.

Walker is no longer available at 6.
Not playing for Souffs this weekend with a quad injury

Smart bloke don’t need him playing for a lemon coach

Now hopefully Mitchell and Murray are out. Wish we’d pull Cook out too
