i do like the extra year to be draft eligible. Gives the clubs a look at players playing against men.
the 2 year contract is fine, just add a 2 yr team option.
the salary cap floor should be dropped dramatically from the stupid 95%
And just leave rules alone and not change something every year for the sake of it
 
I find it odd, most people who have seen AFL adore it, but word just never gets out

I think maybe AFL is so complicated with the plethora of rule changes every year, it may be confusing for people trying to understand the game. I've followed it for over 50 years and I'm not sure I understand the game any more. Soccer would be a far easier game to get your head around. It's like gridiron for me. I can watch it and appreciate the skills, but my enjoyment of it dwindles because I just don't understand the rules.
