Just wanted to point out that 15,662 went to see Carlton play Freo at Optus Oval on Saturday. Thats just 3,000 more than went to see Kangas play Freo on Mothers day last year (was it only last year) . Considering that they are one of the big four and they had no bloody excuses, Mothers day, Fathers day etc I think that that was a bloody poor turn out. And also considering that we are supposedly one of the bottom clubs with supporters etc, you would have to think that 12,000 on Mothers day for our game against Freo was amazing. Even this year we managed at least 25,000 against them. Of course the media hasnt stopped talking about the crowd on Sat, everytime iI turn the radio on they are at it

Well Rooboy96 I get the feeling it will be seen by those people anyway. Only thing is they dont have to reply to it in here, but I think they know where we are coming from. We will keep this one in the memory bank for the next attack.

There was no build up, no mention of BLOCKBUSTER, the bloody Saints took all the press.....anyway I hope the Bummers lost money....better them than us....

Ahhhh, but they would have budgeted for 65,000. So they definately would have lost money.

A smaller than anticipated profit does not make it a loss, but the turn out and smaller profit would have been disappointing.
