Lycett - very mobile for a big bloke.
McGovern - lethal by foot over distance and really opens up the game.
Le Cras - nuff said.
Cripps - solid contributions.

Those bloody silly 'King Cox' crowns - the clown who thought they were a good idea needs to sit behind people at the game. Fortunately the person in front of us saw reason and stopped wearing the crown when asked.
Gaff dished a little hand pass off to someone running off and then didn't offer a shepherd.
Cox was undewhelming.

I could go either way on the lyrics. I don't think they were insulting but the club did at some point. More than the lyrics, the original song was sung with real gusto and sounded like a footy song - while the current one just sounds a bit too safe and insipid. Its a shame because the original sounded kickass if a bit dated.

Yeo should not be the sub , he has been out with finger injury I would have hoped he has been smashing the cardio and will slot straight back in . Selwood after ankle surgery will be the one struggling for match fitness . But he has been smashing the gym and put on 4-5kgs . Don't think a tagging role would be good right away trying to keep up with a fully fit opponent . Maybe give selwood a role in defence like Adam used to do with midfield rotations for the first week at least .
MaGinnity the sub . Our sub this year has failed to impact on the scoreboard at least you could bring on MaGinnity and get him to tag a dangerous player as he would be fresh
Completely disagree. He does his job very well. Disposal is fine too, even if not pretty.
Doing those ploddis highlights has given me quite an appreciation fir macginnities game that tbh i didnt have before - he does a hell of a lot of one percenters and smashes blokes in tackles - makes them hear footsteps

Coxy has been a champion and I just think any accolade that comes his way is deserved but I was really disappointed in our team trying to find him kicks in the last couple of minutes instead of trying to kick a goal or two.

Yeah when it comes down to percentage and a goal or 2 either way it was pretty strange. Players were more overwhelmed with Coxy's game than doing everything they could to make finals a certainty.

+Ve, We don't have Jack Watts playing for our team. Seriously he was beaten when playing forward by Jamie Bennell despite having a height and weight advantage. Such a waste of a number 1 pick.

Interesting Thorne mentioned Kennedy's marking, i too noticed how poor it has become. How often does he just let relatively simple marks (for him) slip straight through his bread basket.

A positive not just with his game but with the recent Hurn domination he seems to have an extra gear of pace. He has been putting the foot down and bursting through congestion on a few occasions been really good to see.

Nah I didn't have a problem with the sentiment shown and good on the boys for having a bit of respect to Cox after the game was as good as over.
His marking has been very good the past few weeks.
If Lycett gets up to Cox level fitness he could actually surpass the big man. Great athlete and runs to good spots.
Thats a bit of a ridiculous call. Cox has been the best ruckman in the modern era
