I'd love to break our drought but I prefer it if we did it the hard way rather than being gifted a flag like the Bulldogs and Richmond were by biased umpires.

The AFL has become as much of a joke as WWE with it's scripting results.
love this, check free kick differential for the year...you'll have to do better than that to '*' Richmonds win

I can see it now- -

2016 PF GWS v WB. WB premier
2017 PF GWS v Richmond. Richmond premier
2018 PF GWS v Melbourne. Melbourne premier
2019 PF GWS v St. Kilda. St. Kilda premier.
So who do you play in 2020?

Gold Coast or Fremantle?

If we can make 3 grand finals every 13 years like we did between 97 and 2010 I will be happy and sooner or later we might have a lucky day

22 years ain't a drought mate...... we are drier than a dead dingoes donga compared to that
I agree with you.
Actually feel for your lot.
When you won your last flag, well most of us did not exist and at the time you were on 12 flags and Hawks on 1....
Now they are on 13 and you still on 12.

My 22 year wait feels like a walk in the park and just need some patience, but 53 years, well that has got to suck seriously bad, especially if you experienced the 1987 prelim final. Never seen a look of horror on a group of supporters like I seen on Dee fans that day.

Eveness of the competition has been demonstrated with last 2 premiers coming from nowhere

Unlike previous years where there seemingly were only 2-3 legitimate flag chances, reality is as many as 10 are genuinely in the race next season

Things can change very quickly. More free agency will help this.

biased? HAHAHAHAHHAHA

should we look at the free-kick differential all year? including the finals i can almost guarantee that Richmond will still have the worst differential even though we've played 3 more games than some teams.

time to pack it in you sad bitter man

I'm thankful that I was only 9 in 87. It wouldn't be pretty if it happened now!

I reckon dogs and tiges in the years preceding appeared to be in worse states than that of saints and dees atm. Tigers had the board challenge last year and the place looked like it was ready to implode. Still might today as 100 000 try to get in to party.

Dogs lost coach captain etc. Just shows they can come from nowhere and that provides more hope than I've had since the beginning of the 2011 season.

AFL love writing scripts and making fairytales happen, forget if you have talent (Richmond 2017). Our time will come soon.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Smashed Geelong by 8 goals. Smashed GWS by 6 goals. Smashed Adelaide by 8 goals.
Worst free kick differential in the league (by far) during the H&A season.

But we won the flag because of biassed umpiring. LMAO.

You are an absolute flog saying this mate. You just need to re-evaluate your life.

Go tiges!!!!

728 days since our last one. Been so long. If we win it next year then our drought of 1091 days will be broken.

1966 GF - Free kicks: St kilda 39 vs Collingwood 26

Margin: one point

St Kilda would have no premierships without umpiring assistance.
