Umm no. Who would do our defensive work? Anderson was only playing there to be settled now that he has, he will only play in advanced roles. Though you might see that partnership at OT against lower teams.

Elanos been embarassingly crap over the past 2-3 months. You can blame injury all you like but he literally cannot even touch the ball anymore and has rightfully been benched in place of Sturridge which says it all dont you think.

Anderson is 18 coming of a broken leg. Elano is what 27 injury prone and without the tank to make it through even half a EPL season. Elano is overrated dramatically

He has been down on form but embarrassingly crap is far from the mark. And getting subbed for Sturridge in one cup game says nothing at all to me.

Anderson - 1023 minutes played, 0 goals, 1 assist.

Anderson didn't play alot at the start of the season either.

He was injured though to be fair but that was basically because he was still coming back from that one injury and never really at full fitness since. (at that time)

And since then, he's been rested from time to time because he's so talented and Ferguson knows an injury to Anderson would be very, very damaging.

I suspect the kid will play a key, perhaps decisive role in Manchester United's Champions League push this season.

Infact, in tight games, he's probably more likely to produce the piece of magic required to get Manchester United over the line.

Anderson is amazing. However the Tottenham machine is awaiting.

If Ferguson doesn't play Anderson against them, his team will lose. And I hope they do.

If Anderson's playing then watch out! Who could possibly want a team with such a talent playing to lose? And they wouldn't either.

Cos Elano doesnt posses the pace of a Anderson or a Ronaldo or a Messi or a world class superstar. Hes rather slow and uses his passing skills. Quite simply dont let him pass the ball by closing him down quicker. Aint rocket science
