He's not. The president is. But I have no problems with him offering up his opinion and any suggestions on how we can improve.

I would. The guy was huge in his field and would always push his club at every chance he could. He'd go in to bat for them, no matter how it would make them look.

I'd love an Eddie Mcguire at St Kilda. We'd be a much better club with one.

I'm very curious to see what happens to Bassat after this year - he began as president in December 2018 so his 6 years will be up.

While I think the term limit is generally a good thing, in this circumstance I do believe we should be considering an exception for 2-3 years. Now he has gotten more involved things are improving and I think a change in president (which can also lead to a change in direction) is not what we need right now.

He got re-elected for a further term in December, didn't he?

Just as an aside…saw the movie Dry 2: force of nature yesterday (starring Eric Bana).
Credits at the end revealed Andrew Bassat was an executive producer for the film!

eddie mcguire pitched the original idea to bassatt on a yacht according to reports. eddie and ross are good friends.

i dont think i ever suggested there was a clash between watters and the president. i said there was a clash between pelchen and watters.

There was a clash between everyone & Watters to be even more accurate.

(Outside of a group of young blokes like Tom Simpkin who loved him).
