It wont. Olympic requirements say at least 70% of countries need a governing body for the sport to be included.
Requirements also state that the sport must have both men's and women's divisions (unless the sport was specifically designed as a women's sport)

On a side note, why has the Olympics in Brisbane been scheduled for late July and early August? I realise Brisbane’s climate is warm but those months are winter months and it is the summer Olympics to be held.

No matter where they olympics are held, they are always held for northern hemisphere summer (or at least spring or autumn). Rio was in August, Sydney in September is probably about as far as they have been moved.
It aligns better with when most athletes are in their seasons and likely to hit Olympics at their peak., diamond league athletics in Europe, major pro cycling events, etc. Of course that's not true of all sports, but probably the bulk of main ones.

I say this truly with no malice against Autistic people in fact I am in a relationship with someone who has Autism, it is pretty obvious to me that Andrew Dillon has Autism. Every one of his press apperances feels like he'd rather be playing with a model train set somewhere.
