Also wonder if they'll try and get Peter Carey or Paul Di Iulio in since they asked them about the Chairman roles and both have CEO roles elsewhere.
Carey is chairman down the Bay, not CEO

Trigg back
Has some unfinished business
Or anyone that would immediately hire a spouse, family member or close friend into a paid role at the club
He got his post-playing in Business Administration and Management and has a Bachelor in Commence, so I guess would have the training to be a CEO one-day, but wouldn't imagine he'd jump straight into that role? Now that would be a genuinely concerning appointment.
I know, but he's spent time as CEO at the Youth Opportunities Association, so has experience in the role.Carey is chairman down the Bay, not CEO
Glass to list managerIn unrelated news, Darren Glass re-signed from WC list manager position today...
1+1=....
It was the only time any of them were going to leave.A wooden spoon year is a good time to take over a club
Or Kelly to CEO, Glass as head of football?Glass to list manager
Reid to CEO
God no.Glass to list manager
Reid to CEO
He's mostly done a good job. Perhaps been out of his depth the last two years, or he didn't have another big push in him after 5 years. When he was appointed, I had so much optimism
Winning.Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan has announced he will transition out of his role as the Club embarks upon a new strategic agenda.
so what is this new Strategic agenda ?
He did what Chapman wanted, which was to make the club bigger $ wise, but it came at the cost of the core product. Need to get back to focus on the most important thing, so hopefully whoever they hire does have a football background, so we don't fall into the same mistakes. He's mostly done a good job. Perhaps been out of his depth the last two years, or he didn't have another big push in him after 5 years.
It's certainly time.
That's actually very true. Best time to start is when there's already a bit of momentum that you can harness and amplify, and get things rapidly improving.A wooden spoon year is a good time to take over a club
Here is my one hard rule we should use when interviewing - If you use the word 'learnings' then you are immediately thrown out.
That should weed out 90% of the tools who think they are smarter than they actually are.
Yeah. The main thing I believe is he offered to go a year ago. He's been only just present since then.No wonder we haven't heard from him for ages. Less and less over the last 12 months or longer. Has obviously been brewing for a while.
The transition out started 12 months ago... but the club kept it to themselves. .No wonder we haven't heard from him for ages. Less and less over the last 12 months or longer. Has obviously been brewing for a while.
Me thinks young Fages lost his protective security blanket when old Chappy boy left.
No doubt Olsen asked Fages to be more focussed on the football side of the business, something he is not comfortable with. Prefers to be a bean counter in the background.
For me, his legacy won’t be about how he handled Phil’s passing. He was spineless and absent as our club was dragged through the mud throughout 2018 and 2019, much like his good mate Chappy. Watching him do sweet FA as he stood by and let others take the blame for the implosion is how I will remember his time here.
This is not a resignation/transition, it’s a firing.
