Will be interesting at training tomorrow when Hamish shows up. Bet Angus would be thrilled too if Melbourne get him. People will say "they're professionals" but if someone smashed your sibling in the face how would you feel about it? I'd never forgive or respect someone who did that. Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds

Judging by what Bugg did and copped 6 weeks, it ended up costing him a lot more than that.

While im sure there are plenty of clubs that would take him, mine included - that type of act will follow you regardless of where you end up.
I doubt it, it's an isolated incident. I felt absolutely awful for Brayshaw but had some sympathy for Gaff, there's nobody bashing him more than himself tonight and we can be cynical and say it's because he's dropped Brownlow and Premiership chances but that bloke looked devastated in himself. I'd be stoked to have him next season and I guarantee he'll be looking to make amends whatever happens.

Does anybody still want him?
No. Minimum 8 weeks. Gone for the year. With all the media he is going to get for the rest of his career he should never show his face again in Perth or Melbourne again. He needs to find a club where he can put this behind him. Maybe he can have a chat to Wayne Carey and come up with something.

Not a fan of overseas teams.....
Not exactly any contending teams other then Melbourne that are overly attractive that want him
He wants to be back in Melbourne now from what i assume, it will be a side he thinks near the lower end that he would see the future is looking rosey

What are his options now? Rumours are Melbourne had a sweet contract on the table for Gaff, but that option will most likely be pulled now. Can't be playing with Angus after knocking the teeth out of the mouth of his little brother Andrew.

Can't stay at the Eagles if they retain Hamish either.

Couldn't have picked a worse player to smack in the teeth.

That seems a bit dramatic.

Do you reckon either Angus or Hamish want to play with him now?
I don't think it is up to them, for starters Hamish is a long way off of playing for the Eagles, if ever, we aren't going to lose an A grade midfielder because he made a mistake.

If Melbourne have made a strong offer to Gaff I really doubt they pull out because of this. Football is a business and teams want the best players.

No club is going to pull out on a trade because of a brain fade that has occurred once in eight years.

The only place you will find that reasoning is amongst clueless over-emotional supporters.

Surely he ends up at North. They've been shopping for a big name player for the last couple of years, linked to Gaff all year. Even linked with a big money move for Polec, which shows how badly they're after an outside payer. Very little chance he stays now and they definitely have the cap space (although the offer is probably a bit lower now after that). He'll move away, put it all behind him and get on with playing footy.
