Just lately been watching tapes from 2004 and cannot believe this kid was not picked up, he really is a very good footballer, any thoughts?
 
Tended to be inconsistant in 2004. Takes a good grab but kicking and decision making under pressure are not his strong points. He's a good honest toiler but so are alot of kids at TAC level.
 
I saw quite a lot of Oakleigh Chargers games last season and thought that Gilham would have been drafted for sure. He has a good football brain and will only improve from here. I hope he gets a chance at Port Melbourne.
 
I played wif Andrew and i consider him to be a very smart footballer, A bit smaller than his brother and less athletic but a good comparison would be Lance Witnall. Felt bad he didnt get drafted cos i thought he would but he might come thru as a rookie

Playing with him in the chess team doesn't really count Calcium.

BTW, It's funny how half the ppl on this thread have only ever made 1 post. Could that be u Gil? ;)

it was even funnier talking about potential draftees around national draft time ... its amazing how many 1st time posters play with players who either weren't drafted or that no bodies heard of :rolleyes:
 
Good to see Gilla get a first round Uni offer.

Although I bet he would have been expecting to decline it, like the rest of us were.

Like a number of guys over the years he had enough ability however, he was not tall enough for a KP and not quick enough for a flank.

And considering Victoria is the best football state in Australia, you could say that we are the best in the country. And I think its pretty safe to say that Australia is the best football nation on earth, so u could say that we are the best on earth. In fact, I believe that earth is probably the best footballing planet in the universe.

So u could say that "Whitefriars is the best football school in the universe." :D

If you people want to speak rubbish why don't you start a new thread dedicated to Whitefriars. I posted to this thread to add my own comments about A. Gilham whom I saw play many games in the 2004 season.
I am not a product of Whitefriars and could care less where these kids go to school, so how about we keep the thread to the topic of football.

Well perhaps if u actually care about Gilham then u could post on the other thread surprisingly titled 'Andrew Gilham' on the main drafts and trading page.

BTW u have had 4 posts, 50% of which have been decidated to this thread. hmmm :rolleyes:
 
You guys are seriously funny. A touch paranoid but funny nonetheless. I am not A Gilham or have no connection apart from attending many Chargers games last year, I just happen to be a local in that area. Keep me amused and I will definately keep on coming back to see what you boys have to say.
 
Ok, I am really sorry to tell you that I am not Andrew fellas but if I was about 35 years younger I would love to have his talent. As for you Andrew, if you ever read this, good luck and you know you can make the grade. Get that fitness and work on that kicking and you WILL be an AFL player. Oh by the way, Hose says hi. :)

Thanks for that Gilla... i mean 'Dackers10' ;). Did u join bigfooty just to talk about urself... i mean Andrew Gilham. U have two posts and their both in realtion to Andrew. :p
