Nah, he played a few games for Richmond, I think. Unless we're counting his first Crows game as a debut, but then we'd have to count Gibbs, too, and nobody wants that.

Good call; a very straight back.

If his body can hold up to the top level long term, he will be one of the better balanced defenders going around imo.

Solid defensively, quick, clean, good vision and ball skills.

He doesn't have one stand out trait to my eye, but a blend of characteristics that should put him in a good position to overtake a dour negating defender like Kelly in time.

My one question mark are his one on one skills when outsized, but we'll hopefully find that out over the course of the year.

I would thought the longer you have contact with the ball the shorter the drop is and less room for a bad drop causing a bad kick. He's always been regarded as an excellent kick.
