What a player. SO many awesome memories of watching Walker do amazing things! Will be considered one of the best players we had in the darkest era we had.

Absolutely loved the Q&A during his press conference too. Hope he is involved with the club for a long time.

Sounds like his knee problems are very similar to Andrew McLeod in his last couple of seasons.
Watched his highlights and saw a few bits of footage from Footy Park, especially a couple of marks I remember well.
I wish him all the best with his lovely family and for whatever he chooses to do now.
My bestie is already grieving at the loss of him (fave player/babe of hers).

So bummed I am working Sunday but will be taping it for sure. Can those who are going to the match please cheer loudly for me?

Got the absolute best out of himself. A terrific Carlton person who is no doubt a fan fovourite.
Will be remembered for so many things, but that mark against Essendon will forever stand alone.

Congratulations on a fantastic career Walks! You will be missed.
 
Should be remembered as a modern day great (even though it was during the darkest of eras at the club). A shining light in a struggling team during the peak of his years.

Had his fair share of criticism in recent times, but I'm sure we all understood what he brought to the table come game day.
Brilliant pack marking, gut running and some amazing goals as well. Of course I will never forget that hanger on Carlisle. I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. Pity it wasn't the make of the year like it should have been.

A worthy player deserving of 202 games, and will go out on a high note. Been there for as long as I can remember and I will miss seeing him in the number 1 jumper on the field.

Congratulations on a fantastic career Walks. Wish you the very best for your next stage in life.
 
Not sure what my favourite career highlight of Tex was.........that hangar, or his perfect hip and shoulder which shattered Christensen's collarbone..........both deserved of a million plus youtube hits. Will miss ya, legend.

Congratulations on a great career Andy, one of my favourites ever since you came to Princes Park, injuries were cruel to you over the journey, but a damn lot of good times and memories as well, best of luck in the future on whatever path you choose.
