keep hearing that at VFL level he is impressive - but if this bloke has still not played a match in 2 seasons - in a team which is not particulary over run with brilliant midfielders or small backs - with the only obvious other delistings being tiva & hyde - then this bloke must seriously be a good chance to be cut at seasons end

where does he sit with his contract>?

Reading the article on the website today, Bowden doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon. And I think Johnson will play one more year.

We'll have around 3 picks ND picks, possibly 1 PSD pick and 2-3 rookie picks IMO.

I can't see Howat or Sylvestor surviving, and Cartledge would be close to getting chopped to! (Hence the 3 rookie picks- plus I wouldnt be suprised if Collard was gone too)

Hyde and Tivendale I would think would be gone, plus one of Casserley, Collins, JON, Polo, Meyer or Connors (we always seem to have a youngster delisted ala Peterson last year), as much as i want to keep them.
I also agree that one of King and Jackson will be at least offered for trade, although if their aren't takers, I think we'll hang onto them.

Thats how I see it...unless Simmo or Johnno suprise us and retire

It's great that we're finding it harder to make room for the draft. Hyde and Tivendale would both have to be gone. Another couple of players will have to go, but they could be considered unlucky.

Howat would have to be gone, yeah? I know he's on the rookie list but there must be some way to manipulate the list so that he can go and we can draft someone. I'm confused about that stuff.

What's Jackson's contract situation? I like the kid, but he hasn't taken his opportunites and has really only played a few games that would justify his spot on the list.

Cartledge and Silvester have both been very good for Coburg. Not sure where that places them in our plans, but seeing as they haven't been given a chance at AFL level, they'd be stiff to get delisted.

For Collard, it's all about the attitude. If there have been good signs, he won't be delisted.

If you look at it the picks we are likely to have are 9 27 and 42 if we only have 3 picks.
Tivendale and Hyde are gone. I think the next on the pecking order would probably be King. I know he has the heart of Phar Lap but unfortunately he does not have the skill or footy nouse to really contribute to the rise of the Tiger
There is nothing to stop a team delisting all its rookies and then drafting them back if they have not been drafted by another team.
If we also delist Howat we can draft another player to the senior list and have just 2 rookies next year.

No wonder our team has been so shit for so long, none of these kids get a go from the supporters.

Collins is assured of staying as is Connors.

Casserly could be close to going(Although under contract), he is just injured every week and although I rate him we can't have liabilities like this on the team.

JON deserves a delisting, but will be kept for 1 more year.

Hyde, Tivendale, Jackson and Pettifer(Club says they will give him another contract, but I seriously doubt it) all but gone, Cartledge, Howat and Silvester delisted from the rookie list, maybe Collard elevated.

Why do we need many more, we are done rebuilding(For the most part), we have a great bunch of youngsters and our older players are playing very well.

We don't need to be having 5, 6 or 7 draft choices this year, just a few under 40 and then stay with the kids we have.

Collins, Connors, Edwards, White, Thursfield, Rance, McGuane, Morton, Hughes, Riewoldt, Graham, Pattison, Polo, Tambling, Collard, Putt and Gourdis will get more time next year and the ones who haven't played will most likely get a game or two(Or more) in the seniors to prove their worth.

Well people are suggesting delisting JON and not Casserly at least JON has got a debut and played some football. I think there is little chance JON will be delisted as for Casserly i'd say the patience is gone with him and although contracted it will be a very small one and I think he may be delisted.
