Some dude rang SEN a week or two ago and said that after we lost to Japan, Gallop offered Ange's job to four other people.
This was leaked to Ange, so he got the shits and told them they could jam the job

I never liked Gallop when he was in charge of the NRL. He’s a reactionary leader at best. If your comp is struggling, he does alright. However, Gallop isn’t a forward thinker and doesn’t know how to grow a game!

I agree with this. You need a leader to be proactive, not reactive.

It viewed on Foxsports 501 yesterday at 530pm Qld time. I only watched 5 minutes. It was a nothing interview and he claimed he didn't have any Japanese coaching job when he quit the national job.
