Probably about the same. I'm very dissapointed with this trade. When the club needs to add depth the last thing they should be doing is trading picks for a 25 yo SANFL ruckman.

In all honesty.......surely Mark Blake is not considered worse than these blokes? He did play in a Premiership after all, 26 y/o and has been quite durable.

Blake has got to be the worst ruckman since Peter Street. Only played in a flag because you had no-one else. Even Vardy, Simpson and West are rated ahead of him down there. Can't believe you still have him.

Adelaide fans rated Maric quite well, and Graham hasn't come on as hoped. Only time will tell.

Of all the number 1 rucks in the league, Graham would have to be in the bottom 4. Maric is an upgrade, though it remains to be seen by how much. I think he will be servicable and competitive in the ruck. Which for the next few years is all we need.

my god graham is the biggest soft*ock and browne is just wrestle man we nothing else. we get hammered in the ruck every game so this is way better. highlights package at rfc shows what our rucks dont do!!

All we need is a servicable ruckman which is what Maric is. We are not going to challenge for a flag for at least 3 years so we can develop other rucks while Maric is ruck now. He gives a contest (unlike Gus) and can win a hitout to advantage.

Graham is the worst ruckman in the league, I hate it everytime he is near the ball because he is soft, stupid and has no idea how to win a hitout to advantage. He will be delisted next year when his contract runs out

Maric will go out for you every game, give 100% effort, put his body on the line for teamates at every opportunity and give it a crack. He may not be the most gifted but ill definitely miss him. From what ive seen Graham is just a bag of dogshit

Maric can actually palm the ball to advantage quite well and also take a grab....plus he isn't soft with the hear the size of a pea.

Graham actually looks afraid of every ruck contest....horrible horrible ruckman.

Done well, maric is a good ruckmen and can go forward and kick goals watched him nearly all year for port was in the best nearly every week.

If Maric can keep his eyes on the ball at a ruck contest and not on his man, then he is already 1000 times better than Graham.

If he cannot be outbodied and outmarked by a midfielder in front of goal then that's another 1000 times better again.

You are probably right, but we still have our first pick from the 2009 draft which incidentally was taken after you lot had your pick and Dustin's ability will go some way in compensating for our ruckmen's lack of ability !
Graham and Maric are to small to be genuine number 1 ruckmen , Gus was to light so they added bulk over the 2010-2011 pre season and this year he was spent not far into games !
If both are given 2-3 games then rested both will be serviceable for us this season ?
