Hopefully being dropped will give him a good kick in the pants.

Griff & VB are both from WA, so I wouldn't think they'd be on the cards.

If that's the calibre of player you're looking at, I can't see the Crows having a crack.

Very little chance in any of Knights, Dougie or van Berlo being traded any time soon. Especially van Berlo. He's an institution.

As much as I love the way Monfries plays, the only one of that lot I would trade for him would be Douglas, and that's a maybe.

As an aside, NOT A TROLL, but do you guys think your recuitment guys have done a terrible job of recruiting midfielders. Your current midfield is average at best. I reckon even if you had two better than average midfielders, you would be a genuine chance. You forward line is excellent and your backs are better than average but your midfield is terrible. What happened?

EDIT: If reports of todays SANFL are accurate, Douglas isn't going anywhere.

Douglas would be the obvious one.

With both of them though, it'd come down to the 'go-home' factor.

I'd rather we kept Douglas 100%, I'm sure the Dons would rather keep Monfries too.

Our recruiting lately has been great imo but back in 99-01 our recruiting was terrible.

No way in the world would you trade Douglas. IMO he will be a gun. I wouldn't mind having Monfries at Adelaide but certainly not at the expense of Douglas.
