On Monday night did anyone see the show 'Unlikely Animal Friends?'

Was about a few different cases of animal friends that were, well, unlikely. A bear-lion-tiger, an elephant-sheep, dog and a goat.

Elephant one for mine was the most interesting.

I'm surprised I'm the first one to mention wolves. Every way I look at them they're awesome. If only having one as a pet wasn't illegal/irresponsible.

The wedge-tailed eagle is the most amazing animal I've ever seen in the wild. I was working one day out in the bush when one dropped down from a tree about 10 metres ahead of me. You don't realise just how wide their wingspan is until you experience it.

Also an honourable mention to the meerkat - try and say no to this:

Killer Whales, Tigers, Penguins and Horses.

Killer Whales number 1 for me. They look awesome and are basically the wolves of the sea. Some hunt sharks. Sometimes pods even take down sperm whales. Some of their pack hunting strategies are very clever (they're actually in the dolphin family so very intelligent). Here's one example:

Some also charge the shore and nearly beach themselves in order to hunt sea lions hanging in the shallows.

I love jaguars, mooses, cougars, elephants, tigers, spidermonkeys, koalas, red pandas and polar bears. And giraffes. And hippopotamuses. And meerkats. And kangaroos.

I love animals in general.
