As most of you are aware crows98 (Scott) and myself have had a few 'issues' over the the course of 2007 (well before the season started) and got to the point where both of us had to put each other on ignore, to enable us to keep our BF accounts active, today Scott and I have agreed (and we are both grown men) that it is pretty stupid to be forced into this 'arrangement' and after a PM or and two we no longer require to have each other on ignore
I would probably go as far to say Ive had a few 'issues' with other posters on this boards (Mods included) probably due to the fact as that I have tried to be honest as to where I thought the club was for the 2007 season and people not agreeing with those opinions. I have always respected what peoples opinions are on this board please be assured of that.
The Adelaide Football Club does not needs infighting between its own members/supporters but rather a united front and understanding that the next couple of years will be tough as the club goes through a transition process so that we can be successful once again.
I think my reason for my negetivity was the pure disapointment of the last two seasons and I really think it has come to a head this season, but every supporter of the AFC has felt this disapointment.
I think that as group on BF we are heading in the right direction with the formation of Bay 114 and trying to be proactive in getting some passion and excitement into home games, we need to keep building on this, we almost have to change the 'guard' so to speak.
I have already stressed my disapointment in the Crows Supporters Group, how they treat in particular the group in Victoria, their negetivity on match days to the members, their inactivity and lack of passion on match days, what do we do about it Im not sure as yet, its something I need to work on with them, but I will say this I wont be taking back over running the group in Victoria due to family and work commitments.
Once again if I have offended anyone over the past year or so, Im sorry for that, keep the faith, barrack hard (thanks pjcrows) and lets stick together as the club moves forward into a new era of exciting new players and future success.
Cheers
Marty
