I was probably a tad harsh in that assessment. In truth, probably 85% of people are decent yet have their up and down days like anyone whilst 15% of people are genuine, bona fide arseholes! :D

Two days ago I had the misfortune to meet a couple of the most rudest, ignorant, stupid and insensitive shop assistants ever.
I won't name the store, but it was a record store.
While I was in there a woman who was blind, or at least partially blind came in. She was feeling her way across the aisles to the section she wanted and then proceeded to take cd's and hold them close to her face. Obviously so she could see the title and artist. While she was doing this two of the charming bimbos who were employed there were laughing out loud at her. The woman left the store without buying anything.
I felt embarrassed for her and so outraged at the two stupid bitches I actually turned to them and said "She's blind, not deaf" !! I also left the store without buying anything.
When I got back to work I was still fuming, so I rang the store and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to her what happened and she apologised and said the store wouldn't put up with that type of behaviour from employees. But I doubted her word, so to make sure of it, I rang the head office of the store in Melbourne and made my complaint to them as well.
Stupid, insensitive, dumb bimbos. I was so angry I could have smacked them both across the face!

I worked tonight actually, and had the funniest thing happen - a perfect reason why some people in retail get bored and just rude. this chick handed my friend who was on the other register a credit card of sorts, only she couldn't remember if it was a debit or credit card, so we put it thru as debit, cos she *thought* it may have been that, then we asked for her pin and she couldn't remember it. She then got ****ty when we had to decline her, and we couldn't get it to go thru as credit because we didn't know if it was credit in the first place and she got really ****ty and complained to our manager. we explained the problem and the manager said "they've done the right thing. do you have a $5 note? it's only a $3 purchase" and she grumbled and groaned abt it, then after ALL that, pulls out a $50 note and goes "why can't you just put it through when you can see i don't have the money on hand for it!"
