Excellent prospect. His concussion history is of some concern though.

He's probably not our biggest need, but would be very comfortable trading our first for him.

The concussions are a concern, but if we walked away with him tonight there wouldn't be many melts IMO.

He's quality, and really sets up that defence for a long time with SDK, COS, Trainor, Zuthrie, JHenry, Humphries, & Mullin/Burke or gives us some flexibility to move a couple of those names into other roles.

Ok, it’s time again to post the names of every player that won’t be drafted by Wells. Predict the Cars draft - including trades if you think there’s a likelihood of it occurring.
As per usual closest to the pin wins sfa other than the admiration of their fellow posters.

Rules - 10 points for the correct player in the correct position; 5 points for a player named in the wrong position.

For me - Geelong trade with Ess - FF + 57 for picks 28 + 31

28 - Kayle Gerreyn
31 - Angus Clarke
45 - Clancy Dennis
74 - Xavier Ivisic

All 4 would be indeed a golden harvest for us with Clarke being a ripper.

I reckon Davidson will go before our picks. I wouldn't mind taking him though. Potential one up over Richmond. They consolidated all their late picks for Brisbane's first. Would be great if they swung and missed at that pick and we just swooped in and took their VFL star with our late pick.

Not sure on that. Perhaps as we have shown how benefical it can be to draft form the non Coates leauge tap.

As far as I can tell none of the 4 players we took at the national draft were mentioned even once anywhere on this board before we picked them. Just incredible how different our club's ratings are to the media and fans.
