Another player/umpire clash

IMO a report would be stupid but by the new laws where the player should be aware of where the umpires are it has to be a report .

Umpires are morons. The players play the game and should not worry about avoiding the umpire. The rule should be the other way round, an ump should stay away from players and make sure he does not get in a players way.

i agree and it was fletcher. if he doesnt get off for that, then hmmmm.........ummmm....then the umpires should be coming from the under 5s that have more knowledge than the ones now!!
yeah!! ok that was pathetic but anywho...moving right along....

That was a stupid situation. The umpire was odviously in the wrong position. THey want respect from the players and yet they manage to get themselves in situations like that.

Oh well, other than that the umpires werent to bad tonight.

He shouldn't go for the incident, but if the AFL want to be consistent with their decisions then they should impose a penalty similar to Todd Curley. I reckon this story will really heat up during the week.
