$4.92US Million spent on Lobbying in 2022

In 2020 they spent $12US Million campaigning against Joe Biden and another $4.5US Million campaigning for Donald Trump

Maybe they should reign in the spending if they are skint?

Interesting if you click on that tweet the following tweets it brings up are all from the dregs of right wing America, Ben Shapiro, Majorie Taylor Greene, Dave Rubin, Steven Crowder, Nikki Haley, Lauren Boebert, Jack Pobosiec, Glenn Beck, Tom Cotton.

How can anyone think Twitter is biased to the left when just looking at one Republican bombards you with all that right wing crap?
Because all the interesting accounts are "Left" so everyone follows them. Some to complain, others because they like the content.

Nah these people making them are genuine…the turds offering thoughts and prayers aren’t…big difference in my book, religion is the biggest fraud on earth, those who hide behind it need serious interrogation
I'll never forget the story about a hippie chick offering 'thought for the mentally ill perp' at meditation sit after the slaying of sisco malispini spelling and then the sarah Hanson-young offering thoughts and prayers after the terrorist attack that slaughtered hundreds of Christians in Sri Lanka.

It's a throwaway line that happens on the u shape spectrum of politics unfortunately.

They pretend to be skint so they avoid lawsuits which are being brought against them.

Then at election time, they act as a funnel between the gun makers and political parties. Gun makers give money to NRA which is passed straight on to the GOP and friendly candidates.

The NRA only keeps enough of a cut to keep the lights on and do faux polling and lobbying work.

Have a look at their execs/current and past board members:

Wayne La Pierre -Gun Lobbyist his whole life, got a medical deferment to avoid using a gun in Vietnam
Ronnie Barrett - Designed a 50 calibre sniper rifle to be sold domestically. The Waco whackos used it on law enforcement who then needed to use APCs.
Matt Blunt - Lawyer who worked for Dictator Obiang of Equatorial Guinea

The rest is a who's who of GOP ex-congresspeople and state GOP members.
Just a bunch of horrible people, really.

It is a throwaway line and it now practically stands for "I'm going to do nothing of any substance, literally all you're getting are these words"

Nothing will change, some really poignant heartfelt statements, McConaughey, Kimmel, Steve Kerr all real, sincere and sensible. Contrast that with absolute pieces of excrement like Ted Cruz and Co.
Anybody who votes Republican is endorsing the murder of innocent Children and adults as the Republican party excepts the NRA blood money

Have a look at this headline compared to the content. Support for gun control is at an all time high, even according to their own article. But the headline is about one line-item about semi-auto assault rifles. Everything else (background checks, age, etc) all at all-time highs, well above 50%.

Even the assault weapons ban has 50% support, despite the title.

Soooo misleading.

Why not put all gun ownership records on the block chain?

Public, trustless, permanent record of each gun's ownership. The crypto-guns-bros would love that, wouldn't they?

Please choose best fit:
  1. they were criminals, guns obtained illegally
  2. they were mentally unstable
  3. we need more good guys with guns
  4. thought and prayers.

You forgot

5. The door wasn't locked

Anyone know this clown?:

Apparently Australian born and bred, now an “American by choice”, peddles all manner of right wing propaganda. He was (surprise suprise) a Liberal councillor in inner west Sydney but decided the Australian Liberal party and Australia as a whole was too “leftist”

Lol "bold and individualistic" yet fits perfectly into the cookie cutter conservative Christian grifter that he spent hours listening to in his bedroom and on the toilet.
At least he ****ed off over there and ended up full circle. Props for that.

Definitely has the physique to be a Christian conservative American pundit too, props again 👍

Who are you referring to?
The Supreme Court, Trump has really thrown a spanner in that with his three appointees who see no harm trying to carry out the religious conservative agenda over there judicially. He campaigned hard against unelected officials driving policy but that may turn out to be his biggest/only legacy.

The court doesn't enforce the law.
