well no coverage on tv or radio for us melbourne-ites so im not really in the know how the game went..i only followed it progressively on afl.com.au via text commentary

good to see the lions break away in the last quarter but what woeful kicking for goal? what gives?

and i notice leppa only got possession in the second quarter...injured again? hope not..

Listening to the (very pro-WCE) Newsradio coverage, it didn't sound as bad as the score looks. Quite a few shots missed very narrowly. On the other hand, Notting and Lynch both missed easy shots from less than 20m, so that's not good. Still, a win's a win, isn't it? Always felt it was a danger game coming off such a high, and 7-5 is a lot better than I thought we'd be at this point a few weeks ago.

'Fraid so. Did the hammy in a similar (but not the same) area, and is apparently not a realistic chance of a game next week. The Demons will be pretty desperate next week I'd think, so it'll be a shame not to have him on the team.

I really have to say, despite the loss of Molloy, that Mal Michael has been an excellent pickup this year. He's been able to cover most forwards in the game pretty well, and I thought his work on Lloyd last week was excellent.

Footy Matchlet

I sympathize with you in regards to the lack of coverage down there in Melbourne FJD.



With regards to the afl.com.au 's coverage with their matchlet, I've never found it to be that fantastic. They only ever seem to update it when a goal is scored. There is a mob out there called Cadability that supply a footy matchlet to various sites around the net (i7.com.au, ozemail.com etc.) that updates more often, giving a more comprehensive overview on what's happening OTHER than the goals. They do pre-game,quarter time and post game comments too.







Try going to Sportal.com.au and follow the links to the live matchlets.........or go to the source Cadability and find out exactly where all their matchlets are around the net.







P.S. they also do the cricket, rugby, union and motor racing

What make Leppa so special that as soon as he comes back from injury he's straight back in the top team....Shouldn't he have to work his way back like EVERYONE else???? It's probably no wonder he hurt himself again......
