Correct, if i were to explain the rules as quickly as possible to an exchange student.

Soccer: The aim is to kick the ball into the net. you cant foul the other team, no hand ball, no tripping and no offside.

Afl: The aim is to kick the ball between the 2 sticks, that will give you 6 points, but if you kick it in the other 2 post its only one point. If you kick it out on the full it is a free kick same with, high contact, holding the ball, deliberate, holding the man (each of these would have to be explained) Then theres rush behinds and touched rules. If you give away a free kick then give away another say running over the mark that is a 50m penalty. Shall i go on?? haha, just to confusing.

I remember in Maths at high school many years ago we were given a geometry test, where we had to measure the areas of various shapes, but the oval stumped everyone and the teacher admitted he had put it in as a trick question.
