Why when you get cold do you feel it in the upper half of your body? Even if I'm just wearing thin pair of trousers I rarely suffer from cold legs. But today I went out for a walk in the snow, and even though I was wearing a jumper and jacket I could have done with another layer, like a nice thermal vest. And my face was cold despite my Russian squirrel fur hat. But my thin summer trousers were enough for my legs. You never feel like putting on a second pair of strides no matter how cold the weather, eh?
