If the PAFC was established aaaaaaaaages ago, then why is it, on the official Port Adelaide Football Club website, they only list AFL players in their 'past players' section? See here. Not so much as a mention of anything pre-1997.

Further more, my source being the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club official website, I see this...

Maybe they:
a)Need to get their facts straight
b)Have got their facts straight

Not so much a troll as a serious question. Honestly :o ;)

Didn't realise the PAMFC Website posted here.

here we go again.

Its a fair question.
Why don't Port supporters admit what is correct and stop sprouting the same old crap which isn't even true.

Are Port supporters so desperate for some kind of recognition that they have to claim the success of some other club?

Because they played a different league which has no relevance whatsoever with the AFL maybe?

Here is a question for you.If you are Adelaide crows are not camry crows, how come the banner on your website says Camry Crows? :D

Yes, we are the Camry Crows. Toyota are our long time loyal sponsor and we should appreciate them and work with them in a manner that benefits both parties. I'm not so sure why some of my fellow Crows supporters would take offense at the phrase 'Camry Crows'.

I once saw Shane Ellen driving a Toyota ute. He was wearing shades.

True story.

On behalf of Toyota and the Adelaide Football Club, thank you for the free endorsement of another of Toyota's fine products.

Certainly strange that a Port Power supporter would be promoting the Crows sponsor while spending plenty of time bagging one of their own i.e. Allan Scott but whatever makes them happy I guess.

Thankyou for your post which you tell us is mostly not a troll but a serious question.

As you place so much store by what you find on the PAFC website I'm sure the fact that the club's honour role goes back to 1870 will convince you of the statement that the PAFC was established, in your words "aaaaaaaaages ago". You'll note the statement in the records that in 1997 the PAFC joined the AFL.

While you were looking at the Port site you seem to have missed this page which would also have allayed your concerns.

And also this page:-

There's plenty more there so just browse through the pages properly.

Happy to help.

Up, up and away.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane no it’s super Hibbert.

Don’t you just love it when Tootie comes to the rescue to restore the Port Adelaide history to the truthful and devious ways we all know and love.

Cannot pull the wool over Tootie eyes. :thumbsu:

Here let me translate for you what you just said:- "We Crows trolls want to be free to talk sh*t. Leave us alone and stop bringing facts into it."

Cheers for clearing that up, Tootsie :thumbsu:

I'll email the PAMFC and tell them to change this:

as it is obviously not correct.;)

No it isn't. Don't worry "super" goalie your not the first Adelaide poster to try this only to end up being proven wrong. Just try not to make a total arse of yourself in the process ;)

I wasn't trying to prove anything, moreso just questioning a possible blemish from an official Port Adelaide source. :) :) :)

I want to know why any of my fellow PA despiser's are wasting time looking on their website to come up with sh1t that we already know the answer to....which is, in effect, PA were promoted in 1997 to the AFL, and a new club, PAMFC entered the SANFL, sharing the records of the original PAFC.

Sick of hearing about all this. :thumbsd:
