I think albo is just the first step. Marles is the only one suitable for those in charge. They may still want the whole ALP out. They'll keep pushing and might even get Josh in charge if the public can be programmed....but even I would be shocked if they manage to get that far.

Well, “to get elected” is admittedly a far-out concept for a party in their electoral position, but the LNP is 110% using the massacre as a tool to try to beat Albanese and Labor with.

Any time that anything at all goes bad, go all-out with the message that it’s the government’s fault. That’s how it works.
