Anyone else think Anthony Hudson out of his depth trying to "interview" players? He is just full of inane questions. He should stck to football. And why have Ten/One HD made the winner run up the stairs to be "interviews" by Hudson. It is a gimmick that does not work for me. I will bet the palyers are pissed off - they just want to hit the showers, get back to the room and count their money.

I agree that he has been quite poor in his interviewing of the players. It is clear from his interviews that he doesn't really follow the sport that much or know what is going on apart from the research he conducts. In an interview with Murray he kept asking him questions about his fitness training and so on and how it will help him this year. The thing is, Murray has been big on fitness training the last couple of years and that is not the reason he loses in big matches in grand slams.
He's by far the best football commentator on FTA, but you're probably right about the tennis. And his lack of tennis knowledge doesn't compare to Fred Stolle's ordinary commentary.
Yesterday I would have agreed with this, but then I couldn't sleep at 3:30 this morning and turned on the TV to see a replay of Sandy Roberts interviewing Andre Agassi after his marathon five setter against Pete Sampras at the AO. Agassi is sitting there pretty much dying of exhaustion, and Sandy is asking him some of the most idiotic, inane questions I've ever heard.
Compared to that, Hudson doesn't seem so bad. Honestly, I think it is pretty hard to make a post-match interview interesting and meaningful - the best stuff tends to come out in the press conferences after everyone's had time to collect themselves.

One thing is for sure, Huddo does not lack sporting knowledge.
The main reason why he has looked a little slow/dodgy is because he is simply thinking too far ahead and is trying to word his questions/statements in the most professional manner. It hurts him at times, as it makes him look slow, but when he gets it all together he is/will be a gem.

haha you can't even mention Griggs name in the same sentence as Hudson. While Hudson was not great at the Hopman Cup, it was his first tennis event as host. Meanwhile, Griggs is still terrible and how many years has she been doing it for?
